We care about your privacy

As of May 25, 2018, the new Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (RODO) applies throughout the European Union. In this document, we describe the services we provide and explain how we protect your privacy. We also write how you can exercise your rights over the data we have collected.

This entity determines why and how it processes your data.

It does so on the basis of Article 26, paragraph 1 of the RODO: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC - the General Data Protection Regulation.

II. General principles of data processing

Where we store your data

We store your personal data in the European Economic Area (EEA). They may also be transferred outside this area and processed there. Whenever we transfer data, we do so in accordance with applicable law. If we transfer data outside the EEA, we use standard contractual clauses and the Privacy Shield to safeguard that data outside the EEA

Who has access to your data

Only the entity that manages your data has access to it.

This means that we never transfer your data for marketing purposes, sell it or exchange it with other third parties.

We do transfer your data to selected third parties - when we perform the services we have defined, and only to the extent that we can entrust their processing under the contracts we have signed. You can find detailed information about these third parties below.

What are the legal bases for data processing

We process your personal data under a contract. You will find its template in the terms and conditions of our services or the terms and conditions of promotions, contests, sweepstakes, etc. that we organize for you. We process your data only to the extent that is necessary to properly perform the service we provide to you.

Sometimes, for example, to tailor the service to your needs, we may ask you to provide additional data. Your consent to do so is, of course, voluntary. You can revoke any consent you give us.

III. Your rights in the context of the law

What are your rights under the provisions of the RODO?

Below you will find information about what rights the RODO grants you and how you can exercise them.

Right to access your data

At any time you have the right to check which of your personal data we store. To do so, you can write to us at sklep@amtii.pl or call us at +48 508 911 575. We will provide you with this information in an email.

Right to data portability

When we process your personal data by automated means based on your consent or a contract concluded with you, you have the right to receive a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used and readable format. We may send this copy to you or to another entity that will henceforth process the data. Please note that this only applies to personal data we have from you.

Right to correct data

You have the right to correct or complete your personal data. If you have an account with www.amtii.pl, you can edit both your personal data and consents at any time in the settings.

Right to delete data

You have the right to delete your personal data that we process at any time. Exceptions are when:

  • you have an open order - not yet shipped or only partially shipped;
  • we are waiting for your payment, regardless of the payment method;
  • we suspect or are certain that you have misused our services in the last four years;
  • you have been denied credit in the last three months;
  • you have purchased something from our store, in which case we will retain your personal transaction data for accounting purposes.

The right to object to data processing on the basis of legitimate interest

You also have the right to object to the processing of your data to the extent that we do so when we and others managing your data have a legitimate interest. We will then stop processing your personal data. We will not do so when legally your interest or your rights are overruled or there are legal claims against you. In such a situation, we will inform you.

Right not to consent to direct marketing

You have the right not to consent to receive direct marketing materials by e-mail, including the analysis of your profile that we do to create such materials.

To opt out of receiving direct marketing materials, simply:

  • follow the instructions included in any such e-mail;
  • change your account settings in your user panel on amtii.co.uk

Right to restrict the processing of your personal data

You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data when:

  • you do not consent to us processing your data based on the legitimate interests of the entities that jointly manage your data. We will restrict the processing of your data after we have verified that such legitimate interest exists;
  • you report that your personal data is inaccurate. We will restrict the processing of your data until we have verified that it is correct;
  • the processing of your data is unlawful. Then you may not agree to the deletion of your personal data and instead request that we restrict the use of your personal data;

  • we no longer need your personal data, but it is required to report or dismiss a claim.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

If you believe that we are processing your personal data inappropriately, please contact us. You also have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority.

IV. Use of data in the purchasing process

Why we use your personal data

We use your personal data to manage purchases made online at the store:

We need this data to process your orders and returns, to send you notifications about the delivery status of products, and to resolve any related issues. We also use your personal data when we manage your payments and process complaints and warranty claims about the products you ordered.

With your personal data, we receive the information necessary to finalize the purchase process.
Based on them, we can:

  • identify you and check whether your age qualifies you for online shopping;
  • confirm your address with third parties;
  • check your payment history and creditworthiness to offer you different forms of payment.

What personal data we process

We will process the following personal data:

  • contact information: name, address, email address and phone number;
  • payment information and payment history;
  • information about installment purchases, if applicable to you;
  • order information.

Who has access to your personal information

We provide your personal information to third parties only to manage purchases made by you online. They are received only by:

  • companies that process your address;
  • communication agencies that send order confirmations;
  • warehouses and courier companies that deliver orders;
  • companies that process payments;
  • banks that verify your identity and creditworthiness when you buy on installments;
  • debt collection companies.

For what purpose we process your personal data

We process your data to provide you with services and deliver your orders.

How long we keep your data

We will keep your data for as long as you are an active customer of ours.

How the automated decision-making process works

If you apply for an installment purchase as a payment method, the banks will process it automatically. In this situation, they are the controllers of your data. You have the right to refer to their decision, e.g. challenge it and report it to our employee.

V. Use of data in marketing

Why we use your personal data

We use your personal data to provide you with marketing information and offers:

  • By e-mail;
  • by text message;
  • by telephone;
  • via PUSH messages;
  • by traditional mail.

What personal data we process

We process the following personal data:

  • contact data: e-mail address, telephone number and postal code;
  • demographic data;
  • information about the offers you use and the products you place in or remove from your shopping cart.

If you have an account with our stores, we will also process your personal data provided to us in connection with that account, including:

  • name;
  • address;
  • demographic data;
  • your purchase history;
  • how you navigate the site and what items you click on.

Who has access to your personal information

We provide your personal data to third parties only to make information and marketing offers available to you. With this data, marketing agencies - with whom we have signed separate data processing entrustment agreements - can fulfill our marketing objectives to the extent that we have assigned them.

We never transfer your personal data for marketing purposes, nor do we sell or exchange it with other third parties.

On what legal basis we process your personal data

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent to receive marketing information. We send this type of information to you when we have a legitimate interest in doing so. Exceptions to this are materials that we send by traditional mail, such as catalogs.

Right to withdraw consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent to process your personal data and receive marketing information at any time. Once you do so, we will immediately stop processing your data for marketing purposes and sending you any marketing offers.

To opt out of receiving marketing information, simply:

  • follow the instructions included in any marketing message we send you,
  • change your account settings in the "Settings of our store" tab.

How long we keep your data

We will keep your data for direct marketing purposes until you withdraw your consent. We will send you marketing information by email until we consider you to be an inactive customer. We will do this if you do not open any e-mail from us within three years. Then we will remove your personal information from our database.

What are cookies

Cookies are computer data, especially small text files, recorded and stored on the devices through which you use our services.

Administrator cookies are our cookies that are associated with the provision of electronic services by us through our sites.

External cookies are cookies of our partners, which are associated with their use of the website of our service.

How we use cookies

We use two types of cookies:

  • session cookies - which are stored on your device and remain there until the session of a given browser ends. The stored information is then permanently deleted from your device's memory. The mechanism of session cookies does not allow us to collect any personal data or any confidential information from your device;
  • permanent cookies - which are stored on your device and remain there until you delete them. Ending the session of a given browser or turning off your device does not delete them from that device. The mechanism of permanent cookies does not allow us to collect any personal data or any confidential information from your device. We use persistent cookies to store:
    • information about the landing page you prefer,
    • your data, if you click the "Remember me" option before logging in,
    • information about your favorite products.

We use both our cookies and third-party cookies to collect statistics and data about you and other users in aggregate and individual form. In doing so, we use analytical tools so that we can optimize our site and present offers of interest to you.

We also use external cookies that monitor how you use other sites. This allows us to share our marketing materials on other sites and across different communication channels.

In addition to promotional offers, we will also be able to present in them recommendations of products that we think you might be interested in.

However, restricting the use of cookies may affect some of the website's functionality. The data we provide to third-party companies is used exclusively to provide the services described in this document. We use analytics tools to collect statistical data to optimize our site and present information on the site that may be of interest to you.
